Listening to the pundits on both sides of the aisle react to to the death of the Healthcare bill redux at the hands of the Senate, you would think the whole Republican party, as well as President Trump, were to blame. But let’s get the straight: 3 RINO’s broke with their party and their president and joined ranks with the Democrats, all 48 of whom voted in lockstep (as always seems to be the case these days). President Trump nailed it with this tweet:
While we are on the subject, allow me to put forward a conspiracy theory: given the timing of John McCain’s return to the Senate to vote—fresh out of surgery and with a scar just above his left eye to prove it—could it possibly that the Dems somehow arranged for a chip to be embedded in McCain’s brain directing him to vote no on the Healthcare reform bill? What other explanation could there be for his matter-of-fact decision to break ranks with his bosom buddy Lindsey Graham? A historical move for sure!
We are now stuck with one of two possibilities: McCain is either a Manchurian candidate or his resentment of Trump drove him to make this out-of-left-field decision. You decide!
